21/3/2021Douglas BodellNo Comments Major milestone for Loreburn Housing Association as we handover their first Passive House certified affordable homes.
The first Passive House Certified housing development in Dumfries has been successfully completed and handed over to our client Loreburn Housing Association.
This small-scale urban infill development at Forsyth Street, Dumfries of four dwellings was designed and constructed as Loreburn Housing Association’s first Passive House certified development, the only internationally recognised, performance-based energy standard in construction.
Our in-house Certified Passive House Designer was fully involved in the design and assisting Robison Construction, a local contractor with no prior experience constructing Passive Houses, during the construction phase.
Following completion we liaised closely with the Contractor and Independent Passive House Certifier to ensure the development was fully certified and uploaded to the Passive House database.
