Glass time capsule found high up in the facade of Renfrew Town Hall.

During the restoration work being carried out at Renfrew Town Hall a glass time capsule has been found high up in the facade. This fascinating object contained newspapers, coins and other artifacts.

The project involves extensive stone repairs, roof replacement, ornate plasterwork restoration, and wide-ranging conservation input from Robert Potter & Partners.

Roucan Loch Crematorium is in the SUST / Architecture + Design Scotland exhibition at the Lighthouse in Glasgow.

Our Roucan Loch Crematorium project has been included as a Case Study in the SUST / Architecture + Design Scotland exhibition at the Lighthouse in Glasgow, to highlight the use of timber in new Scottish architecture.

The exhibition is running from September 2010 to March 2011.

Castlegreen Care Home for City of Edinburgh Council has won the Dementia Service Award.

Castlegreen Care Home, the first in a series of four we designed for the City of Edinburgh Council, has won the Dementia Service Award at this year’s Scottish Care Awards. 625 guests enjoyed the Gala Dinner held in the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow, where Kaye Adams presented the prize at the conclusion of the Scottish Care Conference.

The Heritage Lottery Fund has awarded a grant of nearly £800,000 for the regeneration of Renfrew Town Hall. Robert Potter and Partners and Charles Strang prepared the Conservation Management Plan for the successful bid.

Our second 60 bedroomed care project for City of Edinburgh Council has had its solar array installed. The roof-mounted panels use sunlight to provide free water heating, reducing CO2 emissions.
