Sydes Brae Crematorium South Lanarkshire

This crematorium project for South Lanarkshire Council has two cremators. It was the first project in Scotland to incorporate mercury filtration.

The plan of the chapel allows for both intimate and large ceremonies, with a covered area and fold-back doors for large gatherings.

The book room and wreath courts were carefully planned for privacy, and are integrated with the landscape design strategy which provides for gradual expansion of woodland walks.
